The Finnish Lapphund is a friendly, gentle Spitz breed originally used by the Sami people to herd reindeer in the Arctic. They combine a stunning appearance with a sweet, calm temperament.

Historia

An ancient breed used by the Sami people of Lapland for herding reindeer for thousands of years. One of the most popular breeds in Finland. Adapted to extreme Arctic conditions. AKC recognized in 2011.

Apariencia

A medium-sized, strongly built Spitz breed with a profuse double coat. Soft, expressive eyes. Plumed tail over back. Typical Spitz appearance with an unusually gentle expression.
